The WMC Committees Need You!
The Wisconsin Mathematics Council is looking for your dedication to mathematics education by becoming a member of one of our several working committees. Committees meet virtually and/or in-person throughout the year.
WMEF: The Wisconsin Mathematics Education Foundation (WMEF) supports teachers and students in Wisconsin by awarding scholarships and grants, and promotes sponsorship initiatives to sustain funding.
Social Media: Develop and support the WMC social media campaign by supporting teachers in these digital environments.
Website: Support the development of the WMC website as a mathematics education resource hub for teachers.
Professional Learning: Help guide the professional development opportunities of Wisconsin teachers such as the MPES Fall conferences or virtual series.
Annual Conference Planning: If you have attended the Annual Conference at Green Lake, why not become part of the planning committee for this outstanding conference.

Membership: Help WMC grow through membership initiatives that support our mission to lead in the development and promotion of quality mathematics education that enhances learning for all students.
Community Connections: Spread the wonder, joy and beauty of mathematics by collaborating to create resources for students and families to engage in playful math in their community. Projects have included the WMC Summer Math Adventure and Wisconsin Math Trails.
Math Contest: Join the writing team for the middle school and high school math contests. These contests are held in March with over 300 students participating across the state.
