JOHN JANTY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
FOR SECONDARY MATH PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS
The Wisconsin Mathematics Council is pleased to partner with the Madison Community Foundation to offer the John Janty Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is intended for students:
- Who are currently enrolled in a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction approved teacher education program
- Who have a math major or math minor
- Who are candidates for certification to teach mathematics in a Wisconsin secondary school, and
- Who are residents of Wisconsin
The John Janty Memorial Scholarship represents a partnership between the Wisconsin Mathematics Council and the Madison Community Foundation. This scholarship honors John Janty, who passed in the summer of 2023.
WMC is proud to promote the John Janty Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded along with the existing scholarships and fellowships offered by WMEF, the WMC's Foundation Committee.
