WMEF strives to encourage creativity in the classroom, enhance instructional methods, and promote the effective teaching of mathematics at all levels to improve student interest and mathematics achievement.

WMEF awards grants up to $750 to provide financial assistance to teachers, grade level groups and school districts for the purchase of classroom resources to support in the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies or projects in the field of mathematics.  These resources may include, but are not limited to, new technology, manipulatives needed to support student learning, or other teacher resources.

Applications are due by December 1st (for needs beginning January 1st) and July 1st (for needs beginning August 1st). 

Interested teachers, grade level groups and districts are invited to use the resources linked below to submit a proposal. All forms are fillable pdfs that you can type in, save to your computer, and then attach to an email.
