Jane Howell Professional Development Grant
The purpose of the Jane Howell Professional Development Grant program is to better serve Wisconsin math scholars of color by providing professional development opportunities for their teachers. This grant was created in 2021 through a donation of the Jane Howell family. Jane was a lifelong middle-school educator who valued professional development and diversity.
The Wisconsin Mathematics Education Foundation awards grants of up to $1,000 each to provide financial assistance to PK-16 educators who work with students of color. Grants will be awarded for professional development activities that will advance the teaching and learning of mathematics to math scholars of color in the State of Wisconsin.
