Jane Howell

Biography

This $2000 renewable fellowship was created through a donation from the Jane Howell family. Jane was a lifelong middle-school educator and past president of WMC who valued high-quality mathematics education. 

Both traditional students and people pursuing teacher licensure through alternate pathways (including current paraprofessionals) are encouraged to apply. 

Jane was instrumental in the establishment of the Wisconsin Mathematics Education Foundation and served on the Board of Directors for the first seven years of the foundations' existence.
