WMEF has always sought to fund activities focused on mathematics education. These include scholarships and fellowships for both high school and college students as well as professional development opportunities to support high quality, rigorous mathematics instruction in classrooms in Wisconsin. Since our beginning in 2011, WMEF has provided $2,000 scholarships to 29 students for a total of $58,000.
These scholarships and fellowships are funded by donations from individuals who have a vested interest in improving mathematics education in Wisconsin’s classrooms. Please consider making a donation today!

WMEF offers a $2,000 scholarship opportunity for a Wisconsin high school senior who plans to major in mathematics education or to have a mathematics concentration at the elementary or middle level.
Scholarship Applications are due March 1st.
WMEF offers a $2,000 scholarship opportunity for Secondary Mathematics Education Majors or Elementary Majors with a concentration in mathematics.

The John Janty Memorial Scholarship
WMEF offers a $2,000 fellowship opportunity for a qualified student that identifies as a Student of Color and who is currently enrolled in a Wisconsin university or college, who intends to teach mathematics in a racially diverse environment.
