Advancing Mathematics Leadership in Wisconsin

Join the Wisconsin Mathematics Council for a dynamic set of joyful experiences for math leaders from diverse backgrounds across the state. Throughout the 2024-2025 academic year, we will offer opportunities for emerging and experienced leaders to convene purposefully and regularly to foster professional growth and collaboration in the field of mathematics education. Together we will cultivate a robust network of leaders who are committed to advancing equity, high-quality mathematics instruction, and positive leadership within their respective communities across Wisconsin.

Guiding and facilitating the conversations will be Dr. Anne Marie Marshall, Page Richards, and WMC Leaders

 

Structure: Join us for virtual and/or in-person leadership events 

  • Monthly email communication from August - April 
  • Three 90-minute virtual leadership sessions on September 17th, January 21st, and March 4th from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.
  • One all day professional learning In-Person WMC Leadership session on February 25th at the Holtzman Learning Center (333 Holtzman Road, Madison)
  • Optonal leadership focused working sessions at the WMC Annual Conference on May 7th, 8th, and 9th (registration is separate)

Cost: 

  • ONLY the three 90-minute virtual leadership sessions only: $75
  • BOTH the three 90-minute virtual leadership sessions AND In-person event: $200
