The Wisconsin Mathematics Education Foundation in collaboration with the Wisconsin Mathematics Council currently offers two $2,000 scholarships to qualified students currently enrolled in teacher education programs in the state of Wisconsin. To be eligible students must
If the applicant is a secondary major, he/she must have successfully completed 16 credits in mathematics. A statistics and a computer programming or technology application course must be part of the undergraduate/graduate program.
If the applicant is an elementary major, his/her program must include 6 credits of mathematics. Some statistics concepts and some computer/technology knowledge must be part of the undergraduate/graduate program.
The application process opens December 1 of each year. All applications must be submitted electronically either by completing them online or emailing the scanned application to awardsWMEF@gmail.com.
Applications are due March 1 of each year.
